Granola Smoothie Recipes? Yummy!

These are delicious, quick and easy to make smoothies. A granola smoothie is a very practical and convenient drink for a breakfast on the go or a breakfast not on the go – you decide!

The Basic Granola Recipes

You will need:

A liquid base – this can be anywhere from almond milk to coconut milk. Whatever is your favorite milk to eat with cereals, then go with that!

1 cup of fruit – berries mix best with granola, but your favorite non-traditional fruits will work just as well.

½ cup granola – the star of the show!

1 cup ice – you will only need ice if you did not use frozen fruit.

Directions

For best results blend your liquid and fruits add ice and last but not least granola. Enjoy!

Healthy Additives to your Granola Smoothie

Goji Berries - are a great way to pack antioxidants into your smoothie. They will give you an extra kick of energy that will last throughout the day!

Flax Seed Oil - is high in omega 3 fatty acids. Just add a tablespoon of flax seed oil, and you’ll have had your healthy fats for the day.

Chia Seeds - are a great source of fiber. You will probably want to soak them a bit to soften them before adding them to your smoothie.

Maca Powder - can be added to your smoothie to help provide great immune system support. The vitamin C levels in maca powder help take an ordinary smoothie up to the antioxidant packed smoothie level.
