Fruits and Vegetables that Blend well with Peanut Butter

Bananas – both bananas and peanut butter have a creamy consistency so if you’re looking for a thick creamy smoothie – this is the combination you will want.

Apples – naturally, apples and peanut butter go together, but they’re even better in a smoothie. The sweetness mixed with the nutty flavor balance each other out nicely, and make for a wonderful snack smoothie.

Celery – this is a rather odd combination for a smoothie, but really, it’s yummy! Throw into your blender: a stalk of celery, an apple, a cup of almond milk and a tablespoon of peanut butter (ice as needed) This is the best smoothie EVER!

Oatmeal – this is an excellent option if you want to turn your smoothie into a breakfast smoothie just in throw a fourth cup of rolled oats into your blender along with a banana, 1 cup almond milk and 1 tablespoon of peanut butter = a fantastic break smoothie!

Granola – if you’re looking for more of a crunchy peanut butter smoothie add a ½ cup of granola and that should do the trick.

Peanut Butter Smoothie Recipes

Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie

2 tbsp unsweeten cocoa powder

2 tbsp PB

½ banana

1 cup almond milk – or any other kind of milk will work just as well

Ice is you need it (the more you use the thicker it will be)

A splash of vanilla extract

Directions

Blend in your blender until smooth!


Peanut and Celery Smoothie

3 tbsp PB

2 stalks celery

1 ½ cups milk - you can also use almond milk

1 banana

Directions

First be sure to cut the celery into small pieces so that it will blend better, than add the rest of your ingredients and blend until smooth. Enjoy!



Peanut Butter and Oatmeal Smoothie

2 banana sliced and frozen

¼ cup PB

¼ oats

¾ cup milk - you can also use almond milk

Directions

Blend oats in your blender until powdery. Add remaining ingredients and blend until smooth. Enjoy!


Peanut Butter Yogurt Smoothie

½ cup milk

½ cup plain yogurt

2 tbsp PB

1 tbsp honey

Ice as needed

Directions

Blend in your blender until smooth and enjoy!


PB & banana & Strawberry Smoothie

½ cup plain yogurt

2 tbsp PB

1 banana

4 strawberries, capped – fresh is best

Ice as needed

Blend in your blender until smooth and creamy and enjoy!
