Naturally, strawberry juice comes from strawberries! But why don’t we see more of it around? Now, it’s delicious…don't get us wrong, but not many people think of strawberries in the form of juice. But that’s right…we do!  

Make your Own Strawberry-Juice!

There are two effective ways to go about juicing your strawberries. Check them out below!

Blender Method – take your strawberries, wash and cap them. Throw in 6 large strawberries along with 2 tablespoons of water (add more if your strawberries are really large). Blend until you have a liquid consistency. Using the blender method allows the juice to retain most of the fiber.

Juicer Method – take your strawberries, wash them and cap them. The next step is really easy; just run them through the juicer! There you have it, delicious strawberry juice! Using the Juicer Method only extracts the juice out of the strawberry leaving behind the pulp (fiber).

Use Juiced Strawberries as the Liquid Base for your Smoothie

Most people prefer using whole strawberries in their smoothies, but we also wanted you to know that strawberry-juice is also an option! If you want to be a little adventurous...juiced strawberries will definitely help you get there!

To start, use: ¼ cup of juiced strawberries and ¼ cup water as the liquid base of your smoothie. So basically, it’s half and half – super easy and super delicious!


Strawberry Juice Smoothie Recipes

*If you don’t want to use strawberry-juice you can switch it out for whole strawberries and the recipes will work just fine!

Basic Juicy Smoothie

¼ cup strawberry-juice

½ cup orange juice

1 cup ice

Directions

Blend in your blender until smooth and enjoy!


Breakfast Smoothie

¼ cup strawberry-juice

½ cup yogurt, vanilla

¼ cup water or milk

¼ cup granola

½ banana, frozen

Ice as desired

Directions

Blend in your blender until smooth and enjoy!



Tropical Berry Smoothie

1 banana

½ cup yogurt, vanilla

¼ cup strawberry-juice

¼ cup blueberries

1/8 cup raspberries

1/8 cup orange juice

1 cup ice

Directions

Blend in your blender until smooth and enjoy!


Healthy Blast Smoothie

¼ cup strawberry-juice

¼ cup orange juice

1 tbsp ground flax seed

½ avocado, pitted

1 banana, frozen ( if you don’t use a frozen one be sure to add ice)

¼ cup blueberries

¼ cup strawberries

Directions

Blend in your blender until smooth and enjoy!


Frozen Strawberry and Pineapple Smoothie

1 cup blueberries

¼ cup strawberry-juice

¼ cup orange juice

½ cup pineapple, pitted and peeled

½ banana

½ cup yogurt, vanilla

1 cup ice

Directions

Blend in your blender until smooth and enjoy!
